เนื้อหามีความน่าสนใจและน่าติดตาม นอกจากกลุ่มวัยรุ่นต้องหาทางเอาชีวิตรอดแล้ว ยังต้องรับมือกับเรื่องเหนือธรรมชาติ ความลี้ลับ ซึ่งเป็นเสน่ห์หนังไทยที่ทำได้ดีมานานแล้ว นอกจากนี้เนื้อหายังเผยให้เห็นถึงปมในใจของตัวละคร ที่ทำให้คนดูอยากรู้และติดตามต่อว่า ตัวละครนี้ จะทำอะไรในอนาคต เรื่องราวที่ตัวละครปกปิดไว้คืออะไร เมื่อ ‘คราม’ เด็กหนุ่มวัย 18 ปี พร้อมด้วยเพื่อนนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนเอกชนชื่อดังประจำเกาะปินตู เกาะเล็ก ๆ

ฉากหลังของซีรีส์ถูกวางเอาไว้ที่เกาะปินตู ซึ่งเป็นเกาะแห่งหนึ่งทางตอนใต้ของประเทศไทย บริเวณทะเลอันดามัน โดยใน EPแรก ผู้ชมจะพอได้รับรู้อย่างกระชับฉับไวว่า โรงเรียนเอกชนแห่งนี้เต็มไปด้วยบรรดาเด็กๆลูกหลานคนมีสตางค์ และดูเหมือนจะมี คราม (บีม ปภังกร ฤกษ์เฉลิมพจน์) เห็นหนุ่มลูกชาวประมงเพียงคนเดียวที่ดูเป็นคนปากกัดตีนถีบ แต่คนดูยังไม่ได้รับโอกาสให้ทำความรู้จักกับบรรดาเหล่าตัวละครหลักสักเท่าไหร่ 9 นาทีผ่านไป ซีรีส์ก็เล่าถึงเหตุการณ์สึนามิถล่มเกาะ ส่งผลให้เหลือเด็กๆที่รอดชีวิตอยู่แค่เพียง 36 คนเท่านั้น

อีกทั้งซีรีส์ยังเล่าเรื่องไกลไปถึง 25 วัน ให้หลังจากภัยพิบัติดังกล่าวได้เกิดขึ้น
