ความคิดแรกที่ผุดขึ้นมาระหว่างดูซีรีส์เรื่องนี้ก็คือ “มันมาอีกแล้ว..!” ดูซีรีย์ Fatal Seduction (2023)  ดูเหมือนจะกลายเป็นพล็อตที่ซ้ำซากจำเจสุด ๆ ที่จะขาดไปไม่ได้เลยในวงการสตรีมมิ่งยุคนี้ เพราะในเมื่อเนื้อหาฉาว ๆ อีโรติกมันขายได้เสมอ ทำให้หนังกับซีรีส์ประเภทนี้ยังมีจุดยืนออกมาได้เสมอ เช่นเดียวกับ Fatal Seduction ที่ในส่วนของบทละครแทบไม่มีอะไรเลย เนื้อหาน่าจะมีอยู่แค่หยิบมือเดียว แต่ดันเอามาเกลี่ยและแผ่ขยายออกมาเป็นซีรีส์เรื่องยาว

ต้องขอโทษจริง ๆ ที่ตอนแรกคิดว่า Fatal Seduction น่าจะมีแค่ 7 ตอน..แล้วจบ แต่กลายเป็นว่าที่ดูไปเป็นแค่ครึ่งแรกเท่านั้น นี่คือซีรีส์จำนวน 14 ตอน ที่กลับมองว่าเกินความจำเป็นมาก ๆ เพราะหากนำเนื้อหามาสร้างเป็นหนังสัก 2 ชั่วโมงจบ ก็น่าจะเพียงพอแล้ว แต่เมื่อผ่านไปครึ่งทางกลับพบว่าซีรีส์ค่อนข้างขับเคลื่อนไปแบบช้า ๆ แก่นสารของบทแทบไม่มีอะไร แต่งเติมแต่ฉากเพ้อมโนเซ็กส์ซีนสุดหวิวของตัวละครไปเรื่อย ค่อนข้างเหนื่อยใจไม่น้อย

ถ้าหากจะต้องมาดูต่ออีก 7 ตอนที่เหลือ

ที่ไม่รู้เหมือนกันว่าจะมาตอนไหน ดูซีรีย์ Fatal Seduction (2023) 

ก็ยังอยู่ในมาตรฐานเดิมที่เคยทำเอาไว้กับ 7 ตอนแรกที่ผ่านมา โดยในพาร์ทหลังนี้พยายามสร้างความขึงขังจริงจังยิ่งขึ้น แทบจะไม่มีองค์ประกอบในส่วนฉากวาบหวิว 18+ อะไรเข้ามาแทรกสักเท่าไหร่นัก เหมือนอยู่ ๆ ก็หักดับมาเน้นการเล่าเรื่องแบบจัดจ้านเสียอย่างนั้น แต่กระนั้นแล้วว่าด้วยตัวบทเละครที่ไม่มีอะไร ซีรีส์การเหมือนลอยน้ำไปแบบเรื่อย ๆ

ต้องสารภาพตรง ๆ เลยว่า Fatal Seduction ในพาร์ทนี้ ไม่ค่อยดึงดูดความสนใจได้สักเท่าไหร่ กลายเป็นสิ่งที่เปิดทิ้ง ๆ ไว้ ดูบ้างไม่ดูบ้าง เพราะยังไงเรื่องราวก็ยังขยับไปได้แค่ทีละหน่อยเท่านั้น ทั้งปมครอบครัว ทั้งปริศนาเชิงสืบสวน และการหักมุมของเรื่องนั้น แทบจะไม่สามารถแตะเข้าถึงอารมณ์ของคนดูได้เลย มันเรียบและเรื่อยไปทั้งหมด ไม่มีอะไรที่เราพบว่าจะโดดเด่นขึ้นมาสักที

เรื่องนี้ดัดแปลงมาจากนวนิยายสุดอิโรติกที่โด่งดัง กับการบอกเล่าเรื่องราวของศาสตราจารย์สาวคนหนึ่งที่มีทั้งหน้าที่การงานและครอบครัวที่สมบูรณ์แบบครบทุกอย่างแล้ว แต่ที่ชีวิตของเธอต้องพลิกผันด้วยตัณหาราคะที่มีเธอได้สร้างขึ้นโดยการนอกใจสามีเพื่อไปแอบคบชู้กับเด็กหนุ่มรุ่นน้องคนหนึ่งจนเกิดเป็นเหตุสุดอันตรายอย่างควบคุมไม่ได้ เมื่อความต้องการทางเพศของเธอนั้นเร้าร้อนจนนำความหายนะมาสู่ตัวเธอเอง
