Instead of just a quarrel between Achilles and Agamemnon in year nine, Achilles led his Myrmidons along with the rest of the Greek army to attack the historic city of  which was defended by the Trojan army of Hector, the end of the movie was not taken away from the Iliad. But it comes from Quintus Smirnaeus’s Posthomerica, because the Iliad closes with Hector’s death and funeral.

has made more than $497 million worldwide. making it the 60th highest-grossing film at the time of its release, however it received mixed reviews. with critics praising Pitt and Bana’s entertainment value and performances. While criticizing the story, which is considered disloyal to the Iliad ,  It was nominated for the 77th Academy Award for Best Costume Design and was the eighth highest-grossing film of 2004.

In the year 1250 BC. King Agamemnon united the Greek empire.

Achilles fights for Agamemnon but despises his arrogance. Prince Hector of and his brother Paris negotiate a peace treaty with Menelaus. king of sparta Paris begins an affair with Queen Helen. Menelaus’ wife And he smuggled her onto a ship that was going home. Menelaus meets with his brother Agamemnon and asks him to help him take Troy. Agamemnon agreed. Because conquering would give him control of the Aegean Sea. Agamemnon receives Odysseus King of Ithaca to persuade Achilles to join them.

In King Pream welcomed Helen and prepared for war. The Greeks invaded and captured the Trojan beach with the help of Achilles. Achilles was expelled from the temple of Apollo. and claimed that Briseis A priestess and cousin of Paris and Hector, a slave, he was furious when Agamemnon took her away from him. and decided that he would not help Agamemnon in the siege. Meanwhile The Trojans assembled an army of 25,000 warriors. General Glaucus was confident in  defenses and the skill of his soldiers. Others, however, argued against diplomacy. This results in Paris declaring that he will challenge Menelaus for Helen’s rights.

The armies met outside the walls of Paris offers to fight Menelaus in exchange for Helen and the city being spared. Agamemnon intended to take the city regardless. Menelaus wounds Paris. but was killed by Hector. who broke the rules of fighting to save his younger brother Agamemnon orders the Greeks to crush the Trojan army. But the well-trained Trojans halted their advance.

As the number of deaths increased due to the archers on walls. And after Hector kills Ajax in single combat. Agamemnon was forced to order a retreat. And the Trojan army began a fierce counterattack, chasing the Greeks to the beach. Agamemnon gave Briseis to Greek soldiers for fun. But Achilles saved her life. Later that night, Briseis sneaks into Achilles’ room to kill him. She falls in love with him and they become a couple. Achilles intends to leave  much to the chagrin of his cousin Patroclus.

Prem orders Hector to retake the beach. Hector leads the entire Trojan army there and clashes with the Greek army. He fought a man he believed to be Achilles and killed him, only to find out it was actually Patroclus. The army agreed to stop fighting for the day. Achilles is informed of Patroclus’s death and vows revenge. With caution of weak points Hector then shows his wife Andromache the tunnels beneath  telling her that if he dies and the city falls, She should take the child and the survivor out of the city.

The next day, Achilles arrives and challenges Hector. They fought until Hector was killed. Achilles ties Hector’s corpse to a chariot and drags him to the beach. Priam sneaks into the Greek camp and begs Achilles to return Hector’s body for a proper funeral. Achilles agrees and allows Briseis to return to Troy with Priam, promising a truce of twelve. Day for Hector’s funeral

• The Greeks created enormous wooden horses as peace offerings.

They abandoned the beach and hid their boats nearby. The horses were led into That night, the Greeks hidden on horseback emerged and opened the city’s gates to allow the Greek army to begin the sack of Troy. The Trojan warrior roused himself and tried to fight off the invaders. But they were overpowered and murdered, while civilians were killed or taken as slaves. Andromache and Helen guide some Trojans safely through the tunnels. Paris gives Aeneas the Sword of Ordering him to protect the Trojans and find them a new home.

As the Greeks stormed the palace walls, Glaucus courageously led the remaining Trojan soldiers into a final stand. The Trojans killed many Greeks. Achilles fights through the city and reunites with Briseis. time Paris seeks revenge on his brother. doomovie.win Shooting an arrow into Achilles’ heel and then into his body, Achilles bids farewell to Briseis and watches her escape with Paris before dying. Troy was eventually conquered by the Greeks and a funeral ceremony was held for Achilles.
