ในภาค 3 ก็เลยขอประกาศแยกเป็น 2 ตอน คือภาค 3.1 และ3.2 ต่อมาได้เปลี่ยนเป็นภาค 3 และ 4 คือ คือภาค “ยุทธนาวี” และภาค ” ยุทธหัตถี” เมื่อครั้งภาค 3 ตอน ยุทธนาวี ออกฉาย ก็ได้รับคำวิจารณ์ในด้านลบ เสียมากกว่า ถึงเนื้อเรื่องที่ยืดยาด ไปขยายในส่วนเล็กๆ บางส่วนไม่จำเป็นต้องนำมาเสนอก็ได้ บางช่วงบางตอนก็มีนักแสดงที่ไม่เหมาะสม แต่ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้นก็ขึ้นอยู่กับความคิดของแต่ละบุคคล

ถ้าจะพูดถึงตอนศึกนันทบุเรง ตามพงศาวดารแล้ว ถือว่าเป็นตอนที่สำคัญอีกตอนหนึ่ง ในตอนที่พม่ายกทัพมาทำศึกกับอโยธยา 2 ทางพร้อมกัน โดยทัพของพระยาพะสิม ยกพลเข้ามาทางด้านพระเจดีย์สามองค์ และล่วงเลยเข้ามาตั้งค่ายถึงดินแดนเมืองสุพรรณบุรี ส่วนพระเจ้าเชียงใหม่ นรธาเมงสอ ได้นำทัพมาจากทางเหนือ บุกลงมาตั้งค่ายถึงบ้านสะเกศ แขวงเมืองอ่างทอง แถมภายในอโยธยาเองเจ้ากรุงละแวก
