Toei บริษัทผู้ผลิตภาพยนตร์ซูเปอร์ฮีโรในญี่ปุ่น กลับมาอีกครั้งกับมูฟวี่รวมญาติของไรเดอร์ประจำปี ซึ่งความพิเศษของมูฟวี่เรื่องนี้ นับเป็นหนังส่งท้ายเรื่องราวของ Kamen Rider Revice และเป็นการกลับมาฉลองครบรอบ 20 ปีของ Kamen Rider Ryuki ไปในตัว โดย Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale เริ่มต้นต่อจากตอนจบของ Kamen Rider Revice ซึ่งเหล่าครอบครัวอิการาชิ ก็กำลังฉลองกันอย่างพร้อมหน้ากับกิจการโรงอาบน้ำของพวกตน KAMEN RIDER GEATS × REVICE MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE ซึ่งมีเพียงแค่อิการาชิ อิคกิ ที่ยังคงใช้ชีวิตโดยลืมความทรงจำที่มีร่วมกันกับคู่หูอย่างไวซ์ไปแล้ว

 

ทว่าในวันอันแสนสุข กลับมีปีศาจที่ออกมาลักพาตัวน้องคนเล็กของครอบครัวไป พี่น้องบ้านอิการาชิจึงต้องเดิมพันด้วยการเข้าสู้กับศึกแบตเทิลรอยัลที่เดิมพันด้วยชีวิต ในขณะเดียวกัน ณ เวทีแห่งการต่อสู้ ก็ได้มีเหล่าไรเดอร์จาก Kamen Rider Geats รอประจันหน้าอยู่เรียบร้อย แต่ความวุ่นวายก็ยังไม่หมดแค่นั้น เมื่อการแข่งขันนี้ กลับมีเบื้องหลังของผู้จัดงาน พร้อมกับการปรากฏตัวของเหล่าไรเดอร์จาก Kamen Rider Ryuki

 

ปกติแล้วหนังมูฟวี่ไรเดอร์ปะทะกัน มักจะดำเนินเรื่องด้วยคอนเซ็ปต์ 2 แบบคือ แบบ 1) แบ่งพาร์ตของไรเดอร์แต่ละคนเป็นองก์ แล้วให้ไรเดอร์ตัวหลักทั้ง 2 คนมาเจอกันในองก์สุดท้ายของหนัง และแบบที่ 2) ให้ไรเดอร์ทั้ง 2 คนเผชิญเหตุการณ์ร่วมกัน ตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ ซึ่งจะทำให้ไรเดอร์ทั้ง 2 คนมีแอร์ไทม์ที่เท่า ๆ กันและไม่เด่นเกินกันมากนัก ทว่า Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale เลือกที่จะรวม 2 สไตล์นี้เข้าด้วยกัน

 

โดยหนังได้เปิดเรื่องด้วย Revice ในองก์แรก แต่แทนที่หนังจะให้องก์สองเป็นพาร์ตของ Geats แบบเพียว ๆ หนังกลับให้ Revice เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมในพาร์ตของ Geats ไปด้วยเลย KAMEN RIDER GEATS × REVICE MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE นั่นจึงทำให้หนังเรื่องนี้ มีแกนกลางอยู่ที่ Revice เป็นหลัก จนเหมือนหนังเดี่ยวของ Revice ที่มี Geats มาแจมเฉย ๆ

 

เอาเข้าจริง เราก็ไม่ติดใจอะไรหรอก ถ้าปัญหาไม่ได้อยู่ที่ว่าของพาร์ต Revice นั้นค่อนข้างจะป่วยเอาการ นั่นเพราะองก์แรก เนื้อหาจะวนอยู่แค่ไรเดอร์สู้แพ้ แล้วยกพวกกลับมาสู้ใหม่ แต่ดันแพ้อีก ซึ่งไรเดอร์คนอื่นพอแพ้ก็นอนรอพระเอกมาปิดฉากอยู่อย่างน้ันแหละ เมื่อพระเอกมาสู้พวกที่นอนก็กลายสภาพเป็นตัวประกอบนอกสนาม คอยเชียร์อยู่อย่างเดียว อย่าว่าแต่มิติของตัวละครเลย บทพูดก็แทบไม่มีด้วยซ้ำ ทุกอย่างสามารถคาดเดาได้ว่าจะจบแบบไหน มันช่างเป็น 40 นาทีแห่งความทรมานเสียจริง

 

 

แต่ก็เป็นอันโชคดีที่ว่าพอหนังเข้าสู่องก์สอง ซึ่งเป็นพาร์ตของ Kamen Rider Geats กราฟความสนุกของเรื่อง

 

ก็กลับมาขึ้นสูงอีกครั้ง นั่นเพราะแต่ละตัวมีแอร์ไทม์ให้ได้โชว์ ได้แบ่งบทพูดกัน KAMEN RIDER GEATS × REVICE MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE แม้จะมาน้อยแต่ก็น่าจดจำ ช่างต่างกับองก์แรกเป็นอย่างมาก จนต้องขอบคุณฝั่ง Geats ที่ช่วยแบกหนังให้มีความสนุกขึ้นมาเลย (จุดนี้เรามารู้ภายหลังว่าคนเขียนบทองก์แรก กับองก์สองนั้นเป็นคนละกัน นั่นทำให้กราฟความสนุกช่วงหลังค่อนข้างที่จะดีขึ้นกว่าเดิม)

 

ฟากฝั่งของ Ryuki ที่กลับมาฉลองครบรอบ 20 ปีในภาคนี้ก็นับว่า นับว่ากลับมาแบบไม่สมศักดิ์ศรีต้นแบบไรเดอร์แบตเทิลรอยัลสักเท่าไหร่ เพราะบทของริวคิสภาพคือถูกยัดเข้ามาแบบไม่มีปี่มีขลุ่ย เหมือนกลับมา เพราะ Toei แกหาทางฉลองไม่ได้ ก็เลยจับยัดเข้ามาในแฟนเซอร์วิสในมูฟวี่รุ่นน้องซะเลย สิ่งนี้ทำให้บางทีเราก็นึกเกลียดบริษัทผู้สร้างเหมือนกันi ที่ชอบทำกับแฟนไรเดอร์เป็นของตาย ทำไมนะ Super Sentai ฉลอง 10 ปี 20 ปี ยังทำสปินออฟออกมาได้ แต่พอไรเดอร์จะฉลองบ้าง กลับชอบยัดเข้ามาใส่ในซีรีส์รุ่นน้องซะทุกที

 

นอกจากนี้ อีกจุดที่ชวนหงุดหงิดใจคือ CGi ที่ไม่รู้ว่าพี่ Toei แกจะแข่งความชุ่ยกับ Marvel หรือยังไง มันถึงได้มีฉากที่ลอยได้มากขนาดนั้น ไม่พอ ยังมีช็อตหลุดที่ลืมคีย์กรีนสกรีนออกไปด้วย ซึ่งไม่ควรจะมีอะไรแบบนี้เกิดขึ้นในมูฟวี่ฉายโรงเลย (แต่พี่แกก็ทำอีกแล้ว) แต่แม้เราจะด่าหนังเรื่องนี้เยอะแค่ไหน จุดหนึ่งที่ชอบของ Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale คือฉากคิวบู๊ที่ดูดี มีฉากแอ็กชันสุดครีเอต ยิ่งในพาร์ต Kamen Rider Geats นั้นอุคิโยะ เอสหรือพรี่แอ็กของเรา ก็ยังเป็นตัวละครที่ช่วยชูกราฟหนังให้สนุกขึ้น

 

โดยรวมแล้ว Kamen Rider Geats × Revice: Movie Battle Royale เป็นมูฟวี่ที่ไม่หวือหวา ไปไม่สุดซักทาง การลำดับบทก็สะเปะสะปะ เหมือนเป็นมูฟวี่ที่สร้างขึ้นเพราะต้องฉาย แทบไม่ได้สัมผัสถึงความรักของ Toei ที่มีต่อแฟรนไชส์ไรเดอร์เหมือนเมื่อครั้งอดีตเลย หนังพยายามจะบิลด์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอิคกิกับไวซ์เพื่อไปขยี้ให้ซึ้งในตอนท้าย แต่ทว่าด้วยบทที่สะเปะสะปะและไม่ทำให้คนดูมีอารมณ์ร่วม จนทำให้หนังไม่สามารถทำงานกับทุกคน เพราะมันไม่ได้ซึ้งอย่างที่หวังไว้ (เอาเข้าจริง บทแนวนี้เคยมีมาแล้วในภาค Fourze & OOO: Movie War Mega Max แต่ทว่าภาคนั้น ใช้องก์แรกได้คุ้มค่ามาก แถมยังไม่แย่งแอร์ไทม์ไรเดอร์รุ่นน้องด้วย)
