After Quentin Beck frames Peter Parker for murder and reveals Peter’s identity as Spider-Man. Peter was then interrogated by the Department of Damage Control along with his girlfriend Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson; his best friend, Ned Leeds; and his aunt, May Parker.
Matt Lawyer Murdoch asks that Peter’s charges be dismissed. But the group had to deal with negative publicity. After Peter, MJ, and Ned’s MIT applications are rejected, Peter goes to the New York Sanctum.
Seeking help from Dr. Stephen Strange, Strange begins casting a spell that will make everyone forget that Peter is Spider-Man. But it was damaged when Peter repeatedly begged for change so that his loved ones could keep their memories.
